January-March 2010
In response to the state’s 4% cap on annual budget increases, the HSA stepped up to fill the gap and provides funding for a majority of the activities that our children participate in – assemblies, author visits and some field trips -- as well as specific technology such as smart boards to assist teachers. We hope to continue to benefit our students by supporting activities that enrich their elementary school experience.
Byrd's Casino Night Fundraiser Saturday, March 6 
The festivities included cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, Las Vegas-style gambling, live and silent auctions, a DJ, and YOU (and your friends).
