Back to School Night

Dear Parents,

Our Annual Back-to-School Night will take place on Wednesday, September 14, at 7:00 p.m.  After I welcome everyone, introduce our Byrd School staff and our H.S.A. co-presidents, Wendy Lindley and Kara Stansel, you will have the opportunity to visit your child’s classroom(s) and teachers.

Since our schedule has worked well in the past, we will again have two 30-minute sessions where teachers will make their presentations in their classrooms.  There will be a five-minute break at the conclusion of the first session to allow parents to walk to a second classroom.

• Mrs. Clark and Ms. Orsini, our Resource Center teachers, and
     Mrs. Diamantis, our Reading Specialist, 
  will be downstairs in the
     Special Services Suite.  Mrs. Wong, our new School Nurse,
     will be in the health office.

Refreshments will be provided by our HSA in the front lobby.  Teachers and staff will be parking on Marinus Place, so please do not park on that street.

Please note that this evening is for parents only; children should not attend.

BOX TOPS for Education

Byrd receives several hundred dollars a year just by collecting the 10¢ Box Tops coupons donated by parents and students. 

Each classroom has a Box Tops container set up... and so does the Byrd main office.
